Media trust limited, the publishers of the Daily Trust Newspaper has introduced a new platform to ease contact with advertising clients in various parts of the country.
The innovation, which was first of its kind in the country was aimed at eliminating the challenges advertising clients pass through in getting their adverts published on the newspaper.
Speaking at the workshop preceding the official launching of the new initiative, the Chief Operating Officer of the Media Trust, Mr, Abhay Desai said the idea was born out of desire to reach clients and customers at their door steps instead of travelling long distance to the head office for their advert placement."
He said the platform is first of its kind in the country. While urging the agents to put in their best to ensure that the innovation achieves its desired objective, Desai promised them of maximum cooperation from the part of the company.
City News learnt that the new advert interface, E-quick booking centre will start with the FCT before it permeates to other states of the federation.
One of the facilitators at the workshop Mrs Ruth Ugochukwu described it as cost effective and most economical.
She said "with the new development now the client does not need to travel to the head office for his/her advertisement,all he needs to do is to identify the e-quick booking centres and lodge their advert with the agents".
The e-quick booking centres would be mounted in various parts of the FCT where prospective clients could access adverts placement, change of name and lost of documents.
