Media Trust celebrates female staff in Kano

Media Trust Ltd, Kano regional office, on Monday joined the world to celebrate the International Women’s Day (IWD) by appreciating the women working in the organisation.

The AGM, Northern Operations, Malam Abdullahi Mainasara, acknowledged the role the female staff had been playing to keep the flag of the company flying high in the region.

He noted that women had very important roles to play, not only in the media industry, but across every sector in the country. He promised that the company would continue to give equal opportunities to women.

Responding on behalf of the women, Hajiya Hasana Alfa, the head of marketing in the region, noted, “Indeed, we are great and worth celebrating. Islamically, we have a role to play, and we will continue to play our part.”
