He said in a statement that the airline has made five flights since the commencement of return airlift Sunday, adding that the pilgrims already returned were from Katsina, Lagos, Kebbi and Borno States.
“Max Air airlifted 41,300 pilgrims to the holy land for the 2013 Hajj. Pilgrims airlifted by Max air include those from Lagos, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, Jigawa,Kano, Borno, Yobe, Adamawa,Taraba, FCT, Kogi, Nassarawa, Benve, Kaduna, Plateau, Gombe and Rivers States. The airlift back home would be completed in three weeks,” he said.
