…calls for support
A Lagos-based publishing house, Masobe Books, is donating 10% of funds gotten from its book sales to Christmas on the Streetz, a platform dedicated to caring for children this festive season.
While calling for support in terms of book patronage, the publishing house also aims to donate children’s books and copies of selected titles to the organisers.

Christmas on the Streetz ensures children in the floating community of Makoko in Lagos have a celebration with food, gifts, and books.
Masobe books is one of Nigeria’s leading publishing outfits and recently released Abubakar Adam Ibrahim’s (NLNG Nigerian Prize for Literature) collection of short stories, ‘Dreams and Assorted Nightmares’.
Others include Buried Beneath the Baobab Tree by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani, Michael Afenfia’s ‘The Mechanics of Yenagoa’, Chimeka Garricks’s ‘A Broken People’s Playlist’ and several more.
