Katsina State governor Aminu Masari has polled 5562 votes to emerge winner at the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary held in Katsina.
Masari defeated two other aspirants; Abubakar Samaila Isah and Garba Dankani who polled 8 and 1 vote respectively.
Announcing the results, chairman of the Electoral committee, Dr Isah Adamu said a total of 5959 delegates took part in the exercise.

He said the total votes cast was 5627 just as 56 were invalid.
