The Equities market of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) closed yesterday on a positive note, as the market capitalization gained N27 billion to push a 9 days consecutive rally to to N11.55 Trillion.
The NSE All Share Index (ASI) appreciated by +0.23% to close at 33,514.93 basis points as against +0.41% appreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +24.71%.
Market breadth closed positive as TRANSCORP led 24 Gainers as against 22 Losers topped by PRESCO at the end of today’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume moved down by -86.21% as against +644.59% uptick recorded in the previous session. ZENITHBANK, UBA and FBNH were the most active to boost market turnover. ZENITHBANK and DANGCEM topped market value list.
