Many passengers on board a Lagos State-owned transport bus, LAG BUS, were on Monday morning rescued when the bus went up in flames.
City & Crime learnt that though no one died in the incident, some of the passengers sustained injuries in the rush to exit the bus.
The bus, which was from Lekki going to Obalende, caught fire midway into the journey.
Nosa Okunbor, spokesman of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said that an on-the-spot investigation revealed that the cause of the fire was an electrical error from the engine.
