Manufacturers task NASS on obsolete laws

The National President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Engr. Mansur Ahmed, has said it would engage the National Assembly over many obsolete laws in the country, especially those inimical to smooth business operation.

Engr. Ahmed disclosed this in Calabar after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cross River/Akwa Ibom chapter of the association.

He said engagement of the legislature was one of the many activities that would guarantee positive outcomes for the association.

The Cross River/Akwa Ibom chapter president of MAN, Engr. Giandomenico Massari who was re-elected at the AGM, called on government to introduce more laws that would favour local manufacturers and encourage patronage of made in Nigeria goods.
