The body of a yet-to- be-identified middle-aged man has been found hanging on a tree in Bwari, Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
He was suspected to have committed suicide.
A resident of Bwari, Barnabas James, who confirmed the incident to our reporter through telephone on Wednesday, said the deceased’ body was found hanging on a tree at the back of Deeper Life Road in the area.
He said, “Upon receiving the information, I rushed to the scene where the man’s lifeless body was found hanging on a tree on top of a rock.”

He said a resident who was passing discovered the corpse tied with rope and hung to the tree.
James said security agents were yet to visit the scene as at the time he left Wednesday’s morning as the corpse was still hanging.
City & Crime reliably gathered that a similar incident happened two months ago when a middle- aged man whose name could not be ascertained reportedly committed suicide after he allegedly shot himself dead with his refile at his apartment in Ushafa community of the council.
When contacted, the spokeswoman of the FCT police command, SP Adeh Josephine, said via a text message that, “I have not been briefed about this, please.’’
