Man, woman found dead in Suleja building

A man identified simply as Adeyemi and a woman whose identity could not be ascertained have been found dead in an uncompleted building at Angwan Gwari, Kwamba in Suleja LGA of Niger State.

A resident of the area, Ikechukwu Michael, who made the discovery on Tuesday morning, told City & Crime that he went to ease himself close to the uncompleted building when he perceived an odour oozing from the place.

He said, “I found the man in his nude while the lady was half naked. The late Adeyemi’s body was already peeling. The lady was found lying on her face. After the discovery, I raised alarm.”

He said soon after the discovery was made, policemen arrived at the scene and moved the bodies to the morgue.

An acquaintance of the late Adeyemi, Ogundipe Ayo, told our reporter that when he called the deceased’s widow, who was unaware of the calamity, she said she had not been able to reach her husband since Sunday evening.

There was no reaction from the Niger State Police Command on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
