An Ekiti State high court has sentenced one Ajakaiye Toyin to death by hanging over murder.
The convict allegedly killed an ‘okada’ rider on September 23, 2018 along Agbado/Ode-Ekiti road, in Gboyin Local Government Area of the state.
The ‘okada’ rider conveyed the convict from Agbado-Ekiti on that faithful day to his farm along Ode-Ekiti road, on an agreed fee of N150 but the convict gave him N200 and demanded for a change of N100.
“The ‘okada’ man gave N50 change, thereafter a fight ensued and the convict killed the ‘okada’ rider, dug a shallow grave and buried him there”
