Man stabs wife to death in Benue

A man has allgedly stabbed his wife to death in Korinya community in Konshisha LGA of Benue State.

The police spokesperson in the state, SP Catherine Anene, who confirmed the incident, said the details were sketchy and that she was waiting for the DPO of Konshisha to send in his report of the incident.

Anene, however, said she was told that the man had a disagreement with his wife on Tuesday and in the process used something like a knife to stab her which led to her death.

Meanwhile, a resident identified the deceased woman as Mngusunun and the husband as Bem Matthew Korinya.
