A man, Abubakar Abubakar, has shot his younger brother, Yusuf Abubakar (12), to death while testing the efficacy of a charm against gunshot in Kaiama Local Government Area (LGA) of Kwara State.
City & Crime learnt that the incident happened on Sunday after which the elder Abubakar (suspect) escaped into the bush and has not been seen since then.

The police spokesperson in the state, Okasanmi Ajayi, while noting that the brothers were sons of a hunter, said, “After fortifying themselves with the protective charm, the elder son brought his father’s Dane gun and shot his younger sibling. The charm failed and Yusuf died on the spot.”
