Justice Enenmo held that the prosecution was able to prove count two charge which bordered on illegal possession of firearms against the defendant beyond reasonable doubt, while he was found not guilty on count one.

The court then convicted and sentenced him on count two, which is armed robbery and illegal possession of firearm.

The court stated that in the light of the plea of allocutus by counsel to the defendant, he got 10 years’ imprisonment with hard labour or an option of N10, 000,00.

Earlier, the prosecution told the court that the convict had on June 20, 2019, on Afiaze Road in Kwale, robbed the complainant.
