A high court sitting in Benin City, Edo State, has remanded one Aipoh John at the Oko Correc-tional Centre for killing one Precious Ikpikhumi in Benin City.
The prosecutor, Orobosa Okunbor, told the court that on May 1, 2022, Aipoh John, at the Ug-bowo area of Benin City, killed Precious Ikpikhumi.

He said John accosted Precious on her way to Church, dragged her to an uncompleted building, killed her and abandoned her corpse there.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge and his counsel requested for a date to enable him prepare for defence.
The Judge, Justice M. Isuele, remanded the accused person and adjourned to January 18, 2023.
