Man remanded for turning job seeker into sex machine

A magistrates’ court in Ebutte-Metta, Lagos, has ordered the remand of one Kingsley Onoha for turning a female job seeker into a sex machine.

While presenting the charges, the prosecutor told the court that the lady had gone to the accused to ask for help to secure a job, but that the accused kept sleeping with her under the guise that the job had not started.

The prosecutor said the lady who became frustrated by the prolonged promises made to her by the accused reported the case to the police who promptly stepped in and arrested the suspect and charged him with rape and forceful abduction.

The Magistrate, Mrs F.F. George, ordered that the accused be remanded in the correctional centre pending the outcome of legal advice from the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP).
