Man remanded for defiling 13-year-old daughter

A Badagry magistrates’ court in Lagos State on Tuesday remanded a 58-year-old man, Joseph Gamor, in prison for allegedly defiling his 13-year-old daughter.

The Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaiya, refused to take his not guilty plea and adjourned to July 29, while waiting for advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp Ayodele Adeosun, told the court that on May 9, at about 9am, the defendant unlawfully penetrated the vagina of his 13-year-old daughter his manhood contrary to Sections 261 and 263 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. (NAN)
