A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, has ordered the remand of one Lukman Durosomo over alleged cheating of a partner in their goat business.
The suspect was dragged to court for criminal breach of trust, cheating and misappropriation which contravene Sections 312, 322 and 309 of Penal Code.

According to the charge sheet, the complainant, Adeniyi Hammed, gave the suspect N420, 000 to buy him goats worth N360,000 and another N60,000 for transportation and welfare.
“But you only bought goats worth of N126,000 and confessed to have spent the money on your personal needs,” the police added.
The prosecutor, Inspector Adisa Akinjide urged the court to remand the suspect.
Magistrate M.B Bamidele ordered the remand of the suspect and adjourned the case to 26, September, 2022.
