The presiding magistrate, A.O. Ajibade, however did not take his plea as she ordered that he should be remanded until the next hearing.

The police said the case was first reported at the Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command before it was charged to court on the orders of the state commissioner of police.
The prosecutor, Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that the incident happened at Juliana Lawson Street, Alagbado, Lagos.
The prosecutor said the accused started molesting the girls since 2019 when they were 14 and 9 respectively and continued till this year when the victims summoned courage and told their neighbours what they were suffering in the hands of their father.
Ajayi, asked the court to refer the matter to the Department of Public Prosecution ( DPP) for legal advice.
Ajibade also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till March 17, 2021.
