A middle-aged man, Ahmed Saka, has set himself ablaze after killing his ex-lover, Mutiat Oladele and two children in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, CSP Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident, said: “The man went to set the house of his ex-lover ablaze because the woman said she was no longer interested in the relationship.
“The woman and her two children died as a result of the incident.
“The man died later while three other children sustained injuries and are being treated in Anglican Diocese Hospital, Molete, Ibadan.
Daily Trust gathered that the incident happened on Wednesday night at Shogoye, Idi-Arere area of Ibadan.
