A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday sentenced a 37-year-old man, David Ndirmbola, to one year in prison after he pleaded guilty to trafficking Indian hemp.
He was first arraigned before Justice Peter Lifu, where he had equally pleaded guilty.
Following Ndirmbola’s guilty plea, NDLEA’s counsel, Ms Ifeoma Erondu, urged the court to convict and sentence him.
