An 18-year-old man, Mamman Aminu, was on Monday arraigned at an Upper Area Court, Gwagwalada, FCT, for stealing chairs from a primary school.
The prosecutor, Mr Abdullahi Tanko, told the court that the complainant, Yahaya Mohammed, a member of a vigilance group, reported the matter at the police station on February 12.

Tanko said the defendant and his accomplices (at large) conspired and stole chairs and irons worth N60,000 from Pilot Science Primary School, Gwagwalada, and that during investigation the irons were recovered from the defendant.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The judge, Sani Umar, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with one reliable surety in like sum and adjourned the case to March 23. (NAN)
