The police in Ekiti State have arrested a man, Ojo Babatunde, for repeatedly raping and impregnating his 15-year-old step-daughter.
The state’s police spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, said the victim, who was four months pregnant, claimed that her step-father had unlawful carnal knowledge of her severally before and after she became pregnant.

Abutu added that the victim explained that the step-father started raping her when her mother gave birth through Caesarean Section (CS) and had to spend about three weeks in the hospital, leaving her and the step-father at home.
He noted that during interrogation the suspect confessed to the crime, claiming it was the handwork of the devil.
