When the charges were read to him, he admitted committing the offence.
Auta, 42, broke into the cattle farm of Mr. Moses Ayodele in Bwari, Abuja on Sept.23 and stole the 34 cows valued at N3m.
The prosecutor said the offences were contrary to Sections 79 and 287 of the Penal Code.
The magistrate, Mr. Chukwuemeka Nweke, who committed Auta to prison, however gave him N60, 000 option of fine.
The cows were, however, recovered from Auta and released to Ayodele. (NAN)
