A passenger fell from a moving trailer near Government Secondary School (GSS), Yangoji and died along the Abuja-Lokoja Road.
A witness said the incident happened on Saturday, around 7:35 am, which he said involved a Euro tech trailer with registration number T-0498 KT.
He said the deceased alongside some passengers were sitted on top the trailer loaded with cows, which he said the deceased fell and hit his head on the road.
He said the trailer driver was on top speed when he rammed into a pothole, which he said led to one of the passengers to fall from the top of the trailer.
He said the deceased corpse was later evacuated to Kwali General Hospital morgue.
An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), who was part of the rescue team confirmed the incident, saying the deceased was sleeping on top the trailer when he suddenly fell down and died on the spot.
He said the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the Kwali General Hospital morgue.
