A scavenger, simply identified as Nura, has been electrocuted while attempting to vandalise transformer cables in Shadadi community in Kuje Area Council of the FCT.
A resident, Isaac Bala, said the incident happened on Tuesday, around 11pm when the suspect invaded a transformer.
He said vigilantes who were alerted visited the scene, evacuated the corpse and handed it over to a relation for burial.

The spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, could not be reached for comment on the incident.
