A 28-year-old man, Sikuru Morufu, was on Thursday arraigned before a Mapo magistrates’ court in Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly stealing N3,000 from a commercial s3x worker.
The Magistrate, Mrs O O Latunji, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum after the defendant pleaded not guilty and adjourned the case to February 26.
Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Insp Salewa Ahmed, informed the court that the defendant on January 19, in the Idi-Aro area of Ibadan, was apprehended after a commercial s3x worker, Miss Eniola Opeyemi, raised alarm that her customer cheated her after offering him her services.

He explained that she reported that the defendant who earlier paid N3,000 for her services went back to her room in her absence and stole the money and her N46,000 Infinix phone. (NAN)
