A 41-year-old man, Michael Shoteh, has appeared before an Ogudu magistrates’ court in Lagos State for assaulting his brother and sister-in-law.
The prosecutor, Insp Donjour Perezi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 26, on Bamgboye Street, Agiliti, Mile 12, Lagos.
He said the defendant assaulted his brother, Mr David Shoteh, by punching his chest and threatening his life with a stone.
He further told the court that the defendant, on April 20, at the above-mentioned address, threatened the life of David’s wife, Adenike, with the same stone.
He said the defendant conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace.
The Magistrate, Mrs M.O. Tanimola, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties and adjourned the case to May 9. (NAN)
