Bauchi State Police Command has arrested Musa Hamza, 22, who beheaded Adamu Ibrahim and removed his two eyes at Unguwar Wake Village, Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who disclosed the suspect’s arrest to Daily trust said the incident happened on the 21/12/2020.

He said “Detectives of Alkaleri Divisional Police Headquarters arrested one Hamza, the suspect, after killing of the victim, burning his body and head, and burying them separately in a shallow grave located in the nearby bush.”
Wakil explained that during an investigation, all the body parts buried were exhumed and taken to General Hospital, Alkaleri, for autopsy.
“Upon interrogation, the two eyes were recovered from the principal suspect, who voluntarily confessed to have committed the crime, adding that he was asked by a ritualist to bring the eyes for ritual to enable him to be rich,” he explained.
The PPRO added that exhibits recovered from the suspect include a Knife, one mp3 player, one pair of rubber shoes, and one lighter.
He said investigation was on-going after which the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
