A man, identified as Geoffrey Ayuba, has been arrested with one AK 47 rifle and two packs of pump-action cartridge in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday evening by the officers of Kafanchan Divisional Police, when he went to a mechanic garage in the area to fix his car.
Ayuba, from Anguwan Rimi, a village of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area was detained at the Kafanchan Police Divisional Office for further interrogation to unravel the source of the firearm and ammunition.
