Man arrested over rape of 2 sisters in Delta State

A 35-year-old man, Jude Nduka, has been arrested for allegedly raping two teenage sisters along Okpanam road, Delta State.
The suspect was also alleged to have impregnated one of the teenage girls in the process.
It was learnt that his arrest is sequel to a complaint the mother of the two girls lodged to the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ali Mohammed Ari, who detailed the commander Eagle-Net Squad to go after the suspect.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, Edafe Bright, in a statement on Saturday, said the suspect was arrested by the Command’s Eagle-net Special Squad based on the directive of the Commissioner of Police.
Bright revealed that the suspect, who resides at number 10 Obi Onuwe Street, behind Kowen Plaza, Asaba, lured the girls on separate occasions during which he had canal knowledge of the teenage girls, age 16 and 13 years old.
“Before his arrest, the complainant alleged that the suspect raped and impregnated her daughter age 16yrs old and also raped and defiled her teenage daughter (name withheld) who is aged 13yrs.
“Upon receipt of the complaint, the commander, Eagle-Net detailed detectives to investigate. The detective swung into action and the suspect was arrested.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to have committed the crimes.
“Medical examination on the said victims have been carried out.
“Suspect is currently in custody and will be charged to court on completion of the investigation,” he said.
