Man arrested for allegedly abducting boss’ son, collecting N3.9m ransom

Operatives of the FCT Police Command have arrested a man, Ulagu Philemon Chukwuma, over the abduction of his boss’ 12-year-old son, Justin Nwankwo, and collecting N3.9 million as ransom.

The Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this while parading the suspect, said the boy was kidnapped on February 10, in the Jabi area of Abuja.

He explained that the suspect who was a chef to the Nwankwo family connived with one McDonald Arinze (at large) to commit the crime and collected N3.9m as ransom from the victim’s father.
