A man, Isa Usman, has appeared before a Kano Shari’a Court sitting in Danbare Quarters of Kumbotso LGA of Kano State over alleged defamation of character of another man, Abubakar Haruna who hosted him when he came from Borno State.
The accused allegedly went to the family house of the complainant’s in-laws and told them that he was a drunkard.

He further alleged that the representatives he sent to the family of his wife on the marriage proposal were also not real.

When the charge was read, he pleaded not guilty and the Khadi Munzali Idris Gwadabe ordered his remand in correctional centre till December 18 for re-arraignment.
