A 29-year-old man, Ogunrinde Tunde, has been arraigned at an Ado-Ekiti Magistrate Court in Ekiti State, over the theft of a Bajaj motorcycle.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Adejare Elijah, told the court yesterday that the defendant, on August 5, 2021, at 12:30 pm at Ado-Ekiti, stole one Bajaj motorcycle valued at N270,000, a property of a yet-to-be-identified owner.

Inspector Elijah said the offence is contrary to Section 383 and punishable under Section 390(9) of the criminal code cap C16 laws of Ekiti State 2012.
The Magistrate, Mrs Mojisola Salau, granted bail of N100, 000 with one surety in like sum, and adjourned the matter to September 2, for hearing.
