A 35-year-old man, Caleb Simon, was arraigned on Thursday before a Kaduna State magistrates’ court for allegedly beating up his neighbour, Blessed Gaius, for playing music loudly.
The Prosecutor, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that the defendant on April 10, at his residence had an altercation with the defendant (his neighbour) after he warned the neighbour to stop playing loud music in the compound.

Leo said that Simon hit the complainant with a log of wood on his head thereby causing injuries on him.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to May 13. (NAN)
