The police in Enugu on Wednesday arraigned one Ogechukwu Okeke before Mrs Ngozi Edeani of Enugu East Magistrates Court for allegedly killing one Chinonso Odenigbo, 30.
The defendant is facing two count charge bordering on murder and use of weapon.

When the charges were read, the defendant who had no counsel, pleaded not guilty.
Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Bonaventure Nnadozie told the court that the defendant and others now at large on Feb. 14 in Abor, Apugoeze in Oji River Council Area of Enugu State committed felony to murder.
Nnadozie said they killed and threw the victim’s body in the bush after hitting him with stick.
The presiding Magistrate said the case file be transmitted to the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice abd adjourned the case till April 6, for hearing.(NAN)
