Man, 50, rapes 10-year-old girl in Katsina

Police prosecuting officer, Inspector Hashimu Musa, told the court that the victim’s father,  Ayuba Kukoki, reported the matter at Danmusa Police Station.
He alleged that the accused lured the victim to a maize farm, where he forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.
The accused action contravenes Section 283 of the Penal Code.
The judge, Nafisa Bagiwa, said the matter was only brought for mention as the court has no jurisdiction to entertain it. She therefore adjourned the case to November 19, and ordered that the accused be remanded in prison.a
