Man, 35, defiles 10-year-old boy in Ebonyi

A 35-year-old resident of Amuzu community in Amasiri, Afikpo North local government area of Ebonyi State, Stephen Ude has been accused of defiling a 10-year-old boy from Amuzu Ezeke in the same LGA.
The boy was allegedly followed by the suspect to the farm where the suspect committed the act.
A source from the boy’s family said that the family members, observing how weak and sick the boy looked when he  returned from the farm, question him until he confessed that one Mr. Stephen Ude had anal sex with him at the farm.
“The father of the boy, Pius Agha Idam immediately rushed him to the hospital and reported the matter to the police,’’ the source said.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer ASP George Okafor confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect had been arrested.
He warned that the command could tolerate any homosexual act in the state and advised parents to be mindful of those they allow their children to mingle with.
