Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi; Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, were among the dignitaries who attended the wedding Fatiha of 10 children of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko on Sunday.

The ministers were said to have represented President Muhammadu Buhari.

Other dignitaries who graced the occasion include the former Governors of Sokoto and Zamfara states, Yahya Abdulkareem and Abdulazeez Yari, the Majority leader of the Senate, Yahya Abdullahi who represented the Senate President Ahmed Lawal among other national and state lawmakers.

The Katsina-based Business mogul, Dahiru Mangal, was also at the event which took place at the Gawo Nama’s residence of the former Governor.

Daily Trust learnt that six of the children were the biological sons of Wamakko while the remaining four were sons and daughters of his relatives.
