The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has appealed to the Yoruba community in Bayelsa State to support the re-election bid of Governor Duoye Diri.
Makinde made the appeal in Yenagoa when he met the leadership of the Yoruba community in the Niger Delta state.
The Yoruba leaders were led to the meeting by the former House of Representatives member, representing Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa federal constituency of Oyo State, Abiodun Olasupo.
Makinde assured the Yorubas in Bayelsa that the present peaceful atmosphere that has helped boost their businesses and socio-cultural ties would subsist.
