Makinde visits burnt Ibadan spare parts market, pledges palliatives for victims

The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on Sunday, visited the burnt Agodi Gate Auto spare parts market in Ibadan to assess the extent of damage done by the fire incident.

The inferno which occurred in the early hours of Saturday destroyed properties worth millions of Naira.

The governor, who expressed shock and sadness over the loss of goods, promised succor for the victims.

He said that he would hold a meeting with leaders of the market to find common grounds on ways  of providing palliatives within the shortest possible time.
