The chairman of the Oyo State Motor Parks Disciplinary Committee, code-named, Motor Parks Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary, on Tuesday denied the allegation that he was after the life of a former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhaja Mulikat Adeola-Akande on the instruction of the state governor, Seyi Makinde.
He warned politicians to desist from destroying his hard-earned name for issues he knows nothing about.
Adeola-Akande had last week alleged that Auxiliary was after her life on the instruction of the governor of the state.
Reacting to the allegation at a press conference in Ibadan on Tuesday, Alhaji Mukaila, who said he could not even identify the former majority leader, urged her to desist from politics of destruction.
Lamidi said his role was to oversee the activities of members of his union and not to fight for the government.
“Governor Makinde didn’t ask me to get involved in politics or attack anyone but to work with commercial drivers in the state. I don’t know her and I cannot involve myself in the politics of Oyo State. I urge her to find those behind her ordeal in another place,” he said.
