A youth group, Gbagyi Youth Council of Nigeria (GYCN), has called on the National Assembly members representing the Federal Capital Territory to make the interest of natives their priority.

The group urged Senator Philip Aduda (PDP) FCT and House of Representatives members for AMAC/Bwari and Abuja South Federal constituencies, Zephaniah  Jisalo (PDP) and Zakari Angulu Dobi (APC), respectively, to ensure the natives got appointments at the federal level.

A  statement signed by the president of GYCN, Daniel Gbagyi, in Abuja, said the country needed peace now more than ever before.

“It obvious that the natives of the FCT are facing neglect, but we must stop discussing our challenges on the social media, as anyone who feels our leaders are not doing well should try and interface with them,” the statement said.
