Wife of Sokoto State Governor, Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, will be the keynote speaker at the African Leading Women Conference /Awards which is aimed at celebrating Africa’s most industrious Women in Business and other leadership positions across the globe.
The organiser of the event, Amb. Chris Odey, in a statement said the platform is to honour young female entrepreneurs.
“This event is hosted yearly by the Goodwill Ambassador Events Agency to create a simple but very important platform for African female entrepreneurs to have the opportunity to sit with Leading African Women to share their secrets to success with and also to identify and honour those who have distinguished themselves in different professions that cut across all sectors,”he said.
Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Waziri Tambuwal will also be decorated as the 1st Life Patron of the African Leading Women Initiative at this year’s event holding on Saturday in Abuja.
Other notable individuals expected at the event are wife to Kogi State Governor Hajiya Rashida Yahaya Bello and Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh amongst others.
