Maintenance, fuelling of Villa generators to gulp N68m

This is contained in the details of the Appropriation Bill 2014 which Presi-dent Goodluck Jonathan through the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala laid before the two chambers of the National Assembly last week.
According to the budget proposal, the maintenance of generators of the Aso Rock will gulp N20.54 million; while their fuel will cost N33.477 million.
The appropriation bill also shows that the sum of N2.3 million was set aside for the maintenance of the generators in the office of Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo, and N11.8 million for their fuelling.
Further details indicate that generators at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) will be maintained with N20 million and fuelled with N40 million.
For the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), N3.1 million will be spent on the maintenance of generators and N16.5 million on fuel; while generators in the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) will be maintained with N11.8 million and fuelled with N8.8 million.
