MainOne partners Microsoft on cloud services

Telecommunication company, MainOne, said it has partnered with Microsoft Azure Peering Services partner for West Africa to provide enterprises using Microsoft Cloud services.

MainOne said it was the first firm to do this in the region with a secured, reliable and high performance experience.

The Chief Technology Officer of MainOne, Anil Verma, said growing migration towards cloud services by its customers informed the company’s collaboration with Microsoft to deploy the capability which guaranteed predictable and reliable connection to Microsoft Cloud services.

The service also ensures customer data is delivered over a dedicated internet connection that is prioritised over the public internet on MainOne and Microsoft networks.

The Programme Manager at Azure Networking at Microsoft Corp, Jeffrey Cohen, said the service improved overall connectivity to Microsoft 365, and that, “We are pleased to extend Microsoft Azure Peering Service with MainOne.”
