In an effort to boost the team’s fortunes, Wikki Tourists have announced the return of Abdullahi Maikaba as Technical Adviser.
Maikaba, a seasoned coach with extensive experience in the NPFL, previously led the team in 2016 and has also managed Kano Pillars, Rangers, Plateau United, Akwa United, and Enyimba.
After a disappointing season that saw Wikki Tourists fail to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, finishing third in the NNL Northern Conference Group A table, the club has turned to Maikaba to spearhead their resurgence.
The appointment of Maikaba has been met with optimism from both fans and players, who believe his experience and tactical acumen will bring the much-needed boost to the team.

The immediate task for Maikaba will be to prepare the team for the upcoming season, with pre-season training set to begin next week.
Fans will be eagerly watching to see how Maikaba’s return influences the team’s performance and whether his strategies can lead Wikki Tourists back to the NPFL.
