Maiduguri flood: Right time for wealthy individuals to support victims

The critical situation currently facing Maiduguri residents, leaving thousands of people homeless, requires well-meaning individuals in Nigeria to come to their rescue.

The people of Maiduguri are in dire situation that requires assistance and support from well-meaning individuals to bring hope and relief to the displaced persons. It is high time for wealthy individuals to urgently use their resources to save human lives.

This will go a long way in mitigating the hardship faced by the thousands of residents in Maiduguri.

The victims are desperately in need of food, shelter, clothes and renovation of their houses that have been destroyed.

Though the federal government and non-governmental organisations (NGO’s) have taken some necessary measures to reduce the effect, there is a need for more to address the sad situation, hence it is paramount and crucial for wealthy individuals to step in.
