The Gombe State Government has announced that the remains of the 15th Mai Tangale, late Dr Abdu Buba Maisharu II, will be buried on Saturday in Billiri LGA of the state.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, said a 13-member funeral committee has been constituted.

The committee, chaired by the state’s Deputy Governor, Dr Manasseh Daniel Jatau, was set up to give the late traditional ruler a befitting burial.

Dr Maisharu II died on Sunday at the age of 72 after a brief illness at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe.
