Madagascar have clinched their historical qualification for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Equatorial Guinea 1-0 on Tuesday.
Midfielder Njiva Rakotoharimalala scored in the first half to earn the Indian Ocean Islanders a home victory and secure their passage to the finals.
The win also made them the first team to qualify for the 2019 tournament apart from hosts Cameroon.

Now with 10 points on top of Group A, Madagascar are guaranteed a berth in Cameroon even if they lose their remaining two matches.
